⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I didn't think I needed another 'City Girl meets Grumpy Farmer' story in my life, but Amelia Cord proved me wrong within the first ten pages. Coverage & Cowboys is a masterclass in the enemies-to-lovers trope. Paige Sterling is such a refreshing protagonist—she’s a high-powered executive who isn't 'humbled' by the country, but rather finds a new version of herself there. Her arrival in Cedar Creek in a muddy G-Wagon sets the tone for a rivalry that is as hilarious as it is scorching.

The chemistry between Paige and Ryan is built on a slow-burn foundation of mutual respect hidden behind sharp barbs. Ryan is the quintessential stoic rancher, but Cord gives him so much depth—he isn't just grumpy for the sake of it; he’s a man carrying the weight of his family’s legacy on his shoulders. The 'Wager' early on is where the book really takes off. Watching Paige trade her designer boots for muck boots to prove a point was both empowering and a great source of tension.

When the heat finally hits, it is earned. The transition from high-tension encounters to the explicit intimacy later in the book felt natural and incredibly high-heat. But what really impressed me was the underlying corporate intrigue. The way Paige navigates her loyalty to her career versus her growing connection to the ranch proves she’s a hero with actual backbone. A phenomenal start to the Eagle Hills Ranch series!
